The interior design project for Poliklinika Nova encompassed the lobby, reception area, hallways, and a central cuboid that also conceals auxiliary facilities. As a public healthcare institution, the clinic required a special spatial and aesthetic approach that provides users with clarity, transparency, and a sense of calm.
The central wooden cuboid was designed as an element of spatial and visual organization of the interior. Wood finishes and neutral colour tones were used, along with a strong presence of natural materials, to create an atmosphere of trust and security. Accented lighting throughout the space brings balance, interest, and warmth to an area that is predominantly north-facing. The entire intervention is based on principles of clarity, simplicity, and spatial legibility—key values in the design of contemporary public healthcare spaces.
